"As someone who's interviewed this artist about the release of this CD, I couldn't wait to review it. This CD is amazing, almost hypnotic. The raw vocals dig deep into your soul and take you on a wonderful journey that you hope is never-ending. The tracks are like pieces of a musical puzzle that only Dean can put together. While you're listening to these songs, you'll find yourself singing aloud. After the music stops you'll find yourself thinking about the messages your soul just received. The lyrics are heartfelt and the music is as pure as anything ever recorded. Dean surrounded himself with the best in the business and it really shows. It's hard to pick a favorite song from these ten tracks because each cut takes you someplace else. The opening track, "Lay Around On Mondays" is something we'd all love to do and Dean has a way of making us feel that it's ok to want to do that. The dance floor and party will be jumping when the festive "Tequila Hotel" pumps out into the crowd. A beautiful sax solo takes "New York City Night" into the sunset. "World Love" is a song full of hope for today and tomorrow. My favorite track is "November Smile" because it always delivers one for me. The music cuts right into your soul and leaves its mark there for good. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this CD and I'm sure Dean would too.
