The Best Of Deanna Durbin

"This is best one disc CD of the singing of Deanna Durbin. It contains more of her pop songs from the 1940's and less of her classical standards of the 1930's. It has the title tracks from "Something in the Wind" (1947) and "Can't Help Singing" (1944) plus 5 other songs from these romantic musicals (including "The Turntable Song"). The recordings has NOT been remastered, so one hears the pops and crackles from the original analog tapes. Two Christmas songs and "God Bless America" has been included. This is a must for those Deanna Durbin fans who love her pure soprano vocals."
