"The energy in this album in amazing! Unlike all the previous reviers, I have not had the chance to see them live, if they sound this good on a CD, than live must be amazing. Morrissey on speed meets punk rock, this band creates a sound that is amazingly unique. Buy it, I guarantee it is well worth every penny spent."
Incredible Punk N' Roll

"Disregard the guy who gave this album one star. He is obviously on drugs!! I normally don't come down hard on people I disagree with, and instead believe that everyone has a right to their own opinions, but when someone's opinion is sooo misleading, I find it hard to stomach.
This album is a-m-m-m-mazing. It is really unlike anything I've ever heard. Combine clever, imaginative lyrics, fast paced punk rock, and a bit of 1950's rock n' roll thrown in, and you only get a small idea of what these guys sound like. This disc has been spinning non-stop in my CD player since I got it 4 days ago. Face to Face fans should take note that Buying the Lie was produced by Trever Keith and sounds spectactular.
It is hard to imagine an album getting much better than this."
An awesome cd, but watch them live

"I have had the honor of seeing Death on Wednesday on numerous occasions, the first being with Social D in Hollywood, also them open for Goldfinger at the Glasshouse, them open for Sensefield at Chain Reaction, and them also headline at Chain Reaction, and I have to say that they are an awesome band. Like a previous reviewer stated, the cd does not do them justice (they are much faster and more emotional live). My only complaint with this cd, and it is a very small one, is that their music strayed a little to how they sounded as the Redliners with "The Doubletime EP". If you can find that album, get it along with this one, you wont be dissappointed."
Death on Wednesday Rocks!

"I had the opportunity to see Death on Wednesday open up for the Reverend Horton Heat at the Metro in Chicago, on June 9, 2001. They kick butt live. I was able to find them on MP3.com, and download a few of their songs, while I waited for their album to be delivered from Amazon.com. Their studio work doesn't quite give them the justice they deserve, because when you see these guys play live, you'll know what I mean. Death on Wednesday is a very tight group; everyone I was with at the show was quite impressed. The album is very impressive, and their sound is good. They've brought rock back to the people. Keep an eye out for these guys, they're going places."
Another Dow Must Have

"Like previous reviews have said, this cd does NOT do them justice. Their live performance cannot be captured on a disc BUT this does just fine. Nates voice carries the cd along with the backing music that makes them unique. They do not fit into any one genre and you have to love them for that."
