"I remember this album when I was in the 10th grade. I played this album constantly and enjoyed it. This album demonstrates a new level of creativity,brimming with songs that speak to personal experiences,expressing her own truth about love and relationships. lyrical truth and reality are the hallmarks of the outstanding cuts on this album. Deborah has offered her most personal work to date. This is her latest milestone in her exciting journey as a premier worldwide ever-diva. This album should have been promoted more. Remember,this was 2002."

"Deborah Cox's strogest material has always been her ballads....and "The Morning After" only further proves that point. Nowadays she may chart mostly for club remixes, but many foreget she is also an underrated R&B songstress... who can be compared to Whitney Houston in terms of vocal talent. "Play Your Part" is Deborah Cox's answer to Madonna's "Take A Bow" and her voice soars with passion throughout the song effortlessly. "Hurt So Much" is a beautiful Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis-written ballad which really shows her soulful side. The title track also does, and displays more of a Gospel feel. While "LIke I Did" may have more of a generic Rodney Jerkins sound, I still enjoy it because it has addictive beats. The only thing that saves the filler R&B club material are the hit remixes, "Absolutely Not" and "Mr. Lonely"--both amazing. Is this CD worth the price? Depends if you want a bunch of filler club tracks. It can be listened to the entire way through, but the ballads are really what makes the CD. She puts her heart and soul in them and you can tell every time you listen. Next time round, Deborah needs to focus on her strongpoints instead of making the mistakes which she did on this CD."
