"I remember first listening to this album in 1981 when I was in 7th grade, the voice of this lady just blew me away. Coming from the talented Laws Family (Ronnie, Herbert & Eloise) listening to them they just blew you away. The song "Very Special" along with her Brother Ronnie still sounds good & Fresh just as I first heard it back in 1981. Debra was already on the scene because in 1980 she sang the vocals on the song "Family" with her Brother Herbert. You may know that Jennifer Lopez Sampled this song for her hit "All I Have" along with LL Cool J but there's nothing like the original. This CD is A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR COLLECTION."

"One of the best overall recordings to come out in the last 20 years. This LP was originally released back in the spring of 1981, and the first single was, Be Yourself, followed by the slow jam classic, Very Special. Other excellent tunes are, On My Own, Meant For You, and All The Things I Love. If you are a R&B fan like I am, then you need to get this limited release."
