"Dee Dee Sharp recorded three brilliant lp's in a row at famed Sigma Sound Studio from mid-seventies to early eighties with minimum radio exposure yet to many these are the finest of the era and beyond. In the great musical sixties Dee Dee Sharp had numerous hit records featuring her wondrous soulful voice yet by the seventies that amazing voice matured gaining in power & shading so remains a mystery why there are not at least five or more #1 hits from these awesome albums containing some of the greatest singing ever!
"Happy Bout' The Whole Thing" title track with magnificent flowing TSOP orchestration sounding as great today as when released, showcases a stunning vocal that goes from soft to soaring in a flash making this great track a stunner to be enjoyed over and over...definitive "I'm Not In Love" is riveting and would have soared to top of the charts if heard as would the smoldering & sensual "Love Buddies" featuring another tremendous quality vocal worthy of a Grammy Award. "Make It Till Tomorrow" is a soul-deep performance filled with pathos & a glorious vocal that is magnificent and timeless...anyone with appreciation of an extraordinary singer in a sublime setting will wonder why these timeless classic lp's were strangely overlooked yet it is wonderful these superb albums are all in one package from Edsel who does a fine job with sound and packaging. Takes an Import company to recognize legendary talent American labels seem to miss both when orginally released and currently...bless those Imports!!!
"What Color Is Love?" & "Dee Dee" are the other two sublime lp's filled with incredible performances that complete this musical treasure waiting to be discovered by anyone enjoying the best music has to offer...this legendary lady can really sing up a storm! Bravo Dee Dee!!!"
Happy about my purchase of this CD.

"I purchased this CD and then listened to it while on a road trip. Dee Dee sounds outstanding and the manufacturer did a wonderful thing to make this CD. You will have a hard time to try and find these songs somewhere else in publication."
