"ANY album that features Duane Allman makes it special. TO BONNIE FROM DELANEY is no exception. A very underrated album that should be noticed by not only just the Duane Allman fan, but for music lovers from all over. GET THAT ALBUM!"
A Long Wait For An Old Favorite

"I bought the album when I was 15 and wore the grooves right off the disc. Years later, I tried in vain to locate another copy, but this wonderful album had become all but extinct."To Bonnie from Delaney" is southern R&B with a kind of down home soul quality that only the Bramletts could do. I am surprised it took 30 years, and even more surprised to see it come out as a Japan import rather than an American digital remake. ( Now all I have to wait for is Claudia Lennear's "Phew" to come out on CD! )Although the songs are just as I remembered ( minus the pops and scratches ), I was disappointed with the overall remastering quality which I feel is lacking and which is the only reason for the 4 star rating. Most people might be more familiar with the then popular "Soul Shake", but my personal favorites are the honky tonk piano on "Miss Ann" and the medley with Bonnie singing "Mama, He Treats Your Daughter Mean"They played with many familiar names such as Dave Mason, Tina Turner, Rita Coolidge, Leon Russell, as well as Eric Clapton. Even though they seem to have disappeared into obscurity, to this day no one sounds like Delaney and Bonnie."

"This is Delaney-and-Bonnie best album. I repeat exactly as before "I've got it on vinyl, but that won't last forever. Why won't Atlantic reissue it?"
