Absolutely unreal.

"I'm not prone to using superlatives, but this is almost certainly the most beautiful song I've ever heard. The Satoshi Tomiie mix is itself worth the price of admission. The string accompaniment to the heavenly vocals, the piano interlude, the electronic enhancement... it's almost too much. If you're a fan of electronica, or simply looking for a beautiful song, don't miss this one."
This is Delerium... Enough said

"I would first like to state that this is a review based on the US single, which I recommend over this one for it also features the Amniotic Insomnia Mix apparently not included here, and that is why I lowered my initial rating to 4 instead of 5-stars. Normally it wouldn't be such a big deal but the smooth electro rhythms that borderline chillout is a refreshing take on this particular piece that's definitely worth having...While I'm usually left feeling unimpressed with most remixes, Leeb and Fulber always seem to find the right DJs to spin their material. By the hands of grace, Satoshi Tomiie, Svenson & Gielen and Adrian Schubert have managed to reinvent this song in their each unique way, and without taking away from the magic of the original (and don't worry, none of the beats are repetitious and they're all extremely different so you won't get bored hearing the 'same' track four times in a row). Featuring the heavenly voice of Jael from the group Lunik, "Afterall" is the first single off of Delerium's 2003 album, 'Chimera', and since I'm such a huge fanatic I just have to buy everything they release and seldom am I disappointed! Back in September of last year I was fortunate enough to see Delerium with special guests Conjure One live in Los Angeles and their incredible set had more of a dance vibe than found on their records, making me feel like I was at a rave or something, and so I personally enjoy listening to these remixes for they bring back fond memories for me."
After All... it is Delerium.

"The single off of Delerium's 2003 release of "Chimera", "After All" proves to be a great representation of Delerium's still developing talent.Featuring Jaël from the group Lunik, her voice offers an eerie feel to the song, combined with the ambient noises and trip-hop beats of the song. The chorus is amazing, a whole array of instruments and sounds, signature of Delerium. There are actually 4 tracks on this single album, not 3. The track not listed is the Amniotic Insomniac Mix.1. [Album Edit] 4:09 *****
The original song straight off of "Chimera". Chilling vocals, with trip-hop beat. Ominous and mysterious. The first single from "Chimera".2. [Satoshi Tomiie Remix] 10:47 *****
Satoshi Tomiie is best known for his compilations of progressive songs. He is also noted for his amazing re-mixes, including his re-mix of "After All". Aren't we fortunate. Being the longest song on this album, at almost 11 minutes long, it does anything but put the listener to boredom. Starts off with a long intro that keeps building itself into the vocals, which are heard after about 2 1/2 minutes into the song. Tomiie keeps the feel of the original song still there, while adding his own beat to the song. There is an absolutely beautiful piano melody accompanied by strings... followed by rapid guitar notes. Amazing track, as provided by Satoshi Tomiie.3. [Svenson and Gielen Remix] 7:51 ***
The trance remix of the single album. It was great to hear the vocals combined with an upbeat, trance rhythm. The song constantly keeps an up tempo beat, all leading to the main chorus of the melody. The first half of the song is same in structure and sounds of the second half. Weakest remix on the album.4. [Amniotic Insomniac Mix] 3:58 *****
This is Conjure One on crack. But seriously, if you thought the vocals and ambient sounds of the original track was eerie; this takes you on a whole new level of that same feeling. Mixed by Adrian Schubert, this mix appeals most to the original Delerium feel, with a dash of Conjure One. This track is very downbeat, using trip-hop beats and spine-chilling sounds. Using different samples of beats and sounds throughout the song, it stays fresh and original. The vocals are kept intact and not edited with. One of the more creative and unique mixes out there.Recommended highly for any fans of "After All"."
Amazing vocals and music

"By far the best remix is the svenson remix. So worth the cd for this track alone!!! Makes you wanna get up and dance"
