Classic Delfonics

"Firstly there is NOTHING sub standard or below par of this CD. This so called Bob is an idiot who needs his ears cleaned. Stop trying to think you have a golden ear. You don't. I've had this CD since the beginning of 2008.
As for the music it's classic, classy and sexy soul. Some OK covers, yet many of these have been done over in reggae, notably'La La','Break Your Promise','Losing You',and 'I'm Sorry.
This is an great introduction to this legendary group that's well presented by those good people at Ace Records. It puts todays so called R&B to shame."
CLASSIC ALBUMS MARRED BY SUB-STANDARD AUDIO

"
Even though I owned all three of the 2001 Buddah remasters of the first three Delfonics albums, I purchased this 2008 disc, due to the claim of being newly-remastered for this release.
Unfortunately, as soon as I A/B-compared them, I found the Buddah's to be head-and-shoulders superior to the audio on this CD. In fact, the Buddah's sound so much better, I don't think ANYTHING new was done to this release, audio-wise.
If you want to hear the best audio of both these albums, buy the Buddah's:
La La Means Love You
Sound Of Sexy Soul
The Delfonics
Unfortunately, the Buddah's are now OOP, but used copies are usually available here on Amazon, and also on eBay and Half.
You may have to search a little, and/or exercise some patience, but the Buddah discs are definitely worth the time and effort.
And, if you already own the Buddah's, don't needlessly waste money re-buying this disc; you already have the best."
