"Whilst everyone heaps praise for new 'emo' bands such as And You
Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead some acknowledgement should
go to past bands like Delicatessen. 'Skin Touching Water' is original, consistent, weird & scary.It is a shame that the bands work appears to have been overlooked
by most (critics, websites, distributors, fans - everyone).Every song on this record is produced/mixed is such way as to
distinguish it from the rest of derivative shlock that's about.The non-standard instrumentation used is diverse & evocative.
Strange sounds jump out regularly, but are restrained
brilliantly as not go in the direction 'jazz odyssey'.
The lyrics are rather cryptic yet complement the 'freaky' sounds.Good luck getting it. I thinks it's out of print ([just] typical)"
