Unfortunately disappointing

"Della and the Duke? With a duo like that, how could you miss? You miss by having remarkably poor sound quality. There are many other recordings by other artists available from the National Guard's radio programs in the early 1960's that all have far superior sound quality to this clunker. Who knows why this one is bad, but it is. All of the material recorded here is available from other source material in far superior quality and without the inclusion of the annoying Martin Bloch's "witty chit-chat". This one is really not essential, even if you are a fan as I am, and is only for completists."
