"this is the sophomore album by these guys. not quite as good as tortured existence, but not bad. skull fracturing nightmare, carnivorous obsession, and the title track are the highlights. if you like thrash, speed metal you'll like these dudes."

"This album is not for the faint of heart or those who like poser metal or glam metal -this is REAL metal: heavy, brutal and fast! No it ain't death metal, but as close to it as thrash can get! My CD player melted when I started playing this album -be warned!!! If you like it brutal and yet with that thrash crunch -this is your album!"

"Demolition Hammer
Epidemic of Violence (1992)
Review: I miss these guys. If you are curious, this is where some furious thrash was hiding. Demo Hammer takes it to the extreme here, more like the insane! Not for a moment can these guys get tired.
Epidemic of Violence is possibly one of the most devastating thrash metal albums ever. With spine ripping riffs and excellent lyrics, you cannot go wrong. The vocals are a version of high-octane and grueling shrieks. Demo Hammer dishes out the leads and the drumming is absoulutly without a doubt in the ranks of Dave Lombardo.
Demolition Hammer split up a few years later, but it's best to say that with time bomb, they were to never ever top this.
Cover Art: Pestilence. Destruction.
Choice Cuts: All
Forgettable Ones: NONE
The Final Verdict: The Epitome of Thrash. Neck Surgery may follow!"
