Album Description
This is a CD of 6 "oldies" and 5 originals by Dennis Marcellino. Dennis is a former member of: Sly & The Family Stone, The Elvin Bishop Group, The Electric Flag, and Rubicon. He is also a former member of the group that originally had the hit "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", The Tokens. The theme of this CD is: love, happiness and romance. On this CD Dennis does a remake of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", but this time with a harmony on some of the lead vocal. He also does a beautiful version of "Love Song", originally recorded by Elton John in 1972. Other popular songs include: "What A Wonderful World", "Unchained Melody" and "Daddy's Home". It also includes a song that was written and performed by Dennis' 5 year old son, Timmy, called "I AmThe Music Man". If you like the feeling of "cute", you'll love this song. With the exception of his son's song, Dennis played all of the instruments and sang all of the vocal parts on this CD.
