ALWAYS LIFTS ME UP
Lindsey Laurel | British Columbia, Canada | 10/02/2005

"I love this album, any time I'm feeling down, I put it on and it always moves me in a very emotional way from laughter and awe at his talented guitar work (Corn Cob Soup), to the emotional plea in (Someone Call an Angel Down). The rebelious (Warshack)and(Jaded Are My Wings)to the spiritual (Heaven) and (The End of the World). I have followed Derek throughout his career, and he never ceases to amaze me with his talent. For those who have never heard his music, you're missing some of the best music since Robbie Robinson. A rising star to be reckoned with."

"I was in a state of awe after listening to this album which although was release a few years ago, was very new to me. For a first album to contain such spirit, talent and genre diversity is refreshing. I was moved by every song on the cd, which was also a first for me. This cd should be in every household worldwide."

"This is an amazing CD...buy it!! I discovered it in Albuquerque at the Native American museum and couldn't get enough of it on our road trip to Marfa, Texas and back...it cures the blues in Connecticut, too.

I am giving it as a gift to family and friends as well."
