"Give that I have already reviewed this particular album, this rating is really for the whole thing.
DualDisc technology is practically a CDVD - a disc that is double-sided...on one side, you have the CD and on the other side you have the DVD. It's a bit confusing and not really smart, considering that it's a lot easier to get fingerprints on and to scratch. Nevertheless, it's what's starting to pick up with record labels offering extra content.
This album is practically average, and the DVD is practically average as well. There's nothing really spectacular that would make someone rush to get this. Sure, you get both the videos for "Lose My Breath" and "Soldier" (good videos in their own right, but since when does DC make bad ones? Oops, forgot "Emotion"...), but why not the video for "Girl"? Also, you are treated to a new interview that really doesn't say anything new that we didn't already know. They practically talk about the album concept and shooting the two videos. You get a bit more of a calmed-down feeling, more backstage like (a la the late "BoxTalk"). The girls look good during the interview, but I would've liked it if they had sang something acappella or included some concert footage.
That aside, the extra audio tracks are cool. "Why You Actin'" is quite catchy and the girls sound good as always. "Game Over" is probably the better of the two (huh?) extra tracks. It has that laid back feeling with enough bass in the beat to make your head bop. The harmonies are slick and the girls sound wonderful yet again. But come on, just TWO extra tracks for about a good $5 extra? Huh?? I'm sure with the album only having 11 songs, there are plenty of extra tracks that could have ended up on this DualDisc.
This DualDisc was practically released three months later than the original album and it hasn't been widely released (I Only found it at FYE), but that's probably a good thing, considering that there's not enough extra stuff to make you really want to buy it. Strictly for the die-hard DC fans looking to hear some new songs, but still good."
Nice rerelease

"Its great that this rerelease was not commercial like people like Usher to get more money. Telling b its sales rank, not that many people know about it. But the dvd is AWESOME. They even have new pictures which are very good. I already liked the album which my favorites being, Through With Love(best Destinys Child song ever), If, Cater 2, U, and basically the whole album. The bonus tracks, Game Over and Why You Actin are also very good. A must pickup. And at a nice price."
Enjoy The Comin'!

"I can't stand some issues about the album, the fact that the album was recorded in few session (2 weeks) and the many quantity unnecessary publicity and the released 3 days before original released date that make the album reached Nº19 and the Nº2 insted of dethrone Eminem (coz they could)Well details don't matter but this last album of the trio made them look and hear as true icon on R&B style and provin' that they are a group united.
Though I considered that DC looks like a lead singer and two back up chorus with some solos, I might wanna retact myself on this album coz in a long time Kelly and Michelle performed on equally parts with Beyonce. What I don't like about the vocals is that B keeps doin' the chorus highlight really messy on Girl. But then everythin' is ok!
1. Lose My Breath 10/10 DC and Darkchild made the mature joint on it. Breakin' some vocal stereotrypes on the album of not to risk too much and let Beyonce do some high notes, this one is more a group singin' act. Really good.
2. Soldier (featuring T.I. and Lil' Wayne) 9/10 Fightin' again DC's survivor stereotype just do so well on this jammin' track with the backup and old the sound is definitly fresh.
3. Cater 2 U - 10/10 This song is the opposite of my least fave DC song Bills Bills Bills. The song express a really tender situation of love and treat somebody you love with love good love.
4. T-Shirt - 10/10 Sexy, frenzy and extremly HOT song! Help me to think these have mature really much musically talkin'! you'll hear some really evolution on it.
5. Is She The Reason? 10/10 An amazing ballad and breakin' stereotypes of soft DC style. This song should've been a single.
6. Girl - 7/10 Though it's more like a GIRL TALK! it's just frustratin' to hear the last part when Beyonce keeps on doin' high on part of the chorus. The outstandin' here Michelle as her raspy vocal reached quality on her part and make me feel good.
7. Bad Habit - 10/10 Quite of extravaganza style (remember That's How You Like It on Beyonce solo album, this looks like but it's 100 times better) Kelly best performance takin' it on one of her highlight performance.
8. If - 10/10 As I said this is an outstanding singin' group act. Shoul've been a single too. This song is a kickin' one-
9. Free - 6/10 Tryin' to bring 'Happy Face' on this chapter is really sored of dumbed this album sound 100% mature than Survivor This song just keeps on my nerves, can't stand it but if you like Happy Face you might like this. I don't but it's ok'.
10. Through With Love - 100/10 Highlight suffering track Really good. DC at their best.
11. Game Over (Bonus Track) - 7/10 Average track."
DVD-Audio & SACD is 10 Times Better!

"Being a Very !BIG ! music FAN of this Group! , I was very disappointed to hear the new dual DVD/CD out by what I would say is the BEST R&B female group.
Side A is recored as a CD track version
Other Side B is recored as the DVD version
The songs are the same both side:
Just side A is in 2.0 channel
Just side B is in 5.1 channel
I would give the album: 2/10 for Music on the DVD side.
DO NOT BUY this, unless like me you are a fan.
You will not benefit from anything such as better quality in music...
Dual DVD/CD is just a waste of time and money, buy SACD or DVD-Audio or both.
10 times better!
Sorry fans, but trust me, unless you are after this for a collection set, it is not worth the money.

"My Main issues with this Dual-Disc Re-release of Destiny's Child are the following
1. Girl (Video) - They put this out before that video was released. Should have waited
2. The DVD side - The audio portion contains Game Over and Why You Actin' - International album tracks. They left off "Gots my own", Another international track and Also, They are not on the CD side. It's one thing to add them on The DVD side only if they exceed the 80 minute CD limit but they don't. They should have been on the CD side for us Ipod and Mp3 player owners
3. 2 Step - Another Album cut wasn't added. These 4 left off tracks do not exceed the 80 minute CD limit. They should have been added on
This review only gets 3 stars because the original 11 American CD tracks still make a great album. But this really isn't a good re-release
