"Well folks, this one is a non-starter. Save your money, because this stinker is not what you think--what I thought the CD represented--Ron Asheton and Niagara. Apparently this incarnation of the moniker are perfectly comfortable in letting folks THINK their CDs are worth buying, riding on the fame built into the name by Niagara, Ron Asheton, Michael Davis and others. This is the old no-talent, original that coveted the band name in happy obscurity. Then heavy hitters came along and launched the band into the stratosphere, without the original 'band' members. The rest is history.
Now, here we are 30+ years later with several non-starter releases by Destroy All Monsters. Sort the bad releases out and buy only authentic releases. Not only is the Osaka CD problematic, but there is a box set called 1974-76, or something like that, NOT to be confused with the astounding multi-disc set of REAL DAM and Dark Carnival, if you can find it. Go directly to Niagaradetroit.com and buy the pricey but incredible The Night That Never Ends and you will need no other releases by DAM, including the awful subject at hand. Someone played in Osaka, but Ron, Mike and Niagara were nowhere to be found."
