A great collection, carefully chosen.

"This CD contains a broad spectrum of Deuter's works and will satisfy anyone who is curious about his musical style. Sometimes, compilation CD's can be cheap, money making affairs but I've got to say that 'Sands Of Time' is an excellent representation of Deuter's musical output from 1974 to 1990(his best period in my opinion). There is a good mix of meditative and sparkling, uplifting pieces to keep the listener entranced. I bought this CD out of curiosity in 1991 (before the internet as we know it) and I feel it contains enough of Deuter's music to satisfy my needs. I've heard his other CD's on the internet through the 90's but I can't say that they really expand musically on what he has already produced.
If all the myriad of music he's produced just bewilders you, then I would highly recommend this compilation. It's got all his best stuff, so save yourself time and money!"

"A review I read said words to the effect that Deuter always produces great sound. Having listened to this anthology of his older material, I agree. A lot of "new age" type music fades with time, and the development of production standards. Deuter's work stands up nicely against more modern productions. A good place to start, or reflect, on this type of music."
