"Being a die-hard Ross fan, there's nothing on this CD I haven't heard. Although I was surprised that they included both the 3:48 mix of Touch Me in the Morning (that overdub at the end is great), and the album version of Remember Me (I love that part at the end where she screams almost tearfully, "Don't forget me darlin!"). My only complaint is the booklet insert. Looking at the track times implies that all the tracks are the edited single versions. That's not even half-true. The only single versions are "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (in a breathtaking STEREO mix!), and "Love Hangover" (whose single version has been played to death, but I think stinks compared to the album version). If you're on a budget, or new to Ross, get this CD. It'll be great for your collection. Or, if you've got the money to burn, get it just for the full mix of "Touch Me .." and the stereo mix of "Ain't No Mountain ..". Otherwise, skip it. Nothing new."
Finally: A CD for adult women to DANCE to

"After all the teenybopper pop that just leaves me feeling EXHAUSTED (you ladies will understand), I have found a cheap cd that is designed for active, adult WOMEN. No matter what mood I happen to find myself in, my lady friends and I will drink some wine and bathe in the sounds of Diana Ross (forget Springsteen, she's the Boss to us!!). Whether it is the (...)busting disco grooves of "Upside Down" and "I'm Coming Out", or the eroticism of steamy ballads like "Endless Love" (one word ladies: Lionel!), I end up needing a cold shower and a cup of black coffee after listening. And unlike so many Diana Ross compilations that are over-priced and loaded with FILLER, this is a lean and mean cd that features the best of the best. And it won't leave you wondering where your hard-earned cash went, which is hard to come by in the marketplace if you are a strong female. Diana is the Boss, and she's a "woman of color" to boot, showing the white-male-dominated music industry just where the graaaavy is, baaaaby!!"
A Super Compilation

"This compilation of the legendary Diana Ross just sounds great to my ears. Eleven tracks and all of them are great. I am especially fond of Touch Me In The Morning, Do You Know Where You're Going To, and I'm Comming Out. The styles just blend so nice from ballads to soul to funky disco classics. Major league fans of Miss Ross should probably look for a more extensive compilation but this single set CD is a great introduction to the legendress."
Pretty Good Solo Diana Retrospective

"This set includes pretty much all of her biggest hits through-out the 70's and into the early 80's. Many of these hit #1 including her debut single "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," the ballads "Touch Me In the Morning," and "Do You Know Where You're Going To" and then her disco smashes "Love Hangover" and "Upside Down." And of course her massive hit duet "Endless Love" with Lionel Richie is added in. "I'm Coming Out" is also here. This is a great collection to see what Diana Ross was all about."
CLASSIC DIANA

"A rather skimpy compilation but never the less offers some of Diana Ross' most timeless recordings. Every track is unique and is some of the twentieth centurys most remarkable recordings from one of the worlds biggest stars! Diana's voice is fresh and vibrant throughout on tracks such as THE BOSS, TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING and the powerful Michael Masser track, IT's MY TURN. Her expressive speaking voice through the verses on AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH is truly magnificent and one of her strongest performances on record can be found on the classic, I'M COMING OUT. An excellent selection of Ross' early solo hits but as said before a rather condensed compilation."
