Product DescriptionA double CD. One CD is of brand new instrumental music, the other of songs written over a 40 year period. The instrumentals are particlarly focused on portraying the Four Corners area in the Southwest. The vocals are sung by Dick Weissman, and by special guests Mary Flower, Tom May, Dan McIlhenny, Chico Schwall and Anne Weiss. All material written by Dick Weissman, one co-authored by Chico Schwall. The songs range from the humorous So Much Dylan, to songs about the American West, Gary Davis, the three principals in The Journeymen, an R&B-flavored song and one Sinatra-ish ballad. Dick plays banjo, banjeaurine, nylon, steel string and 12 string guitar, and Chico Schwall plays harmonica, banjo, fiddle and mandolin. Noah Peterson plays soprano and tenor saxophone and rub-board. An eclectic excursion into new acoustic music.
