"If you've been finding even Air's electro-pop confections a bit too challenging lately, then this is the just the CD you've been looking for. As sweet and bubbly as an Italian soda, this very European blend of melodic hooks, rhythm guitars, vocal harmonies, and ultra-bouncy bass lines goes down smooth. No trip-hoppy, new-agey, sleep-making chill-out sequences here - just one tres amusant three-minute pop song after another. Try to imagine a Top 40-friendly Stereolab - without the politics and artsy pretensions - and you'll have a pretty good idea of what you're in for. Better yet, they're like a Swing Out Sister for the Gen-Y Swiss boarding school set. And after you've had enough of the standard versions of these songs (although the lyrics in Italian, German, AND English should keep you interested for a good long while), you can move on to the bonus track remixes by some outstanding European DJ's like Erobique, Claudia Kaiser & Albert Poeschl, and DJ Medsyou. The remix of "Strano Mondo di Tanti Nomi," provided by none other than those Franco-German garage-pop wunderkinds, Stereo Total, is not to be missed. It actually features a sonic sample from the 1970s arcade game, Galaga! How do you say?.....Supercool!"
