"You enter the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of The University of Notre Dame for 11:45 mass and expect the usual "Smells and Bells" of standard church-going fare. Instead, you are rivited to your seat as the Notre Dame Folk Choir performs music that truly grabs the attention of God Herself. I was fortunate enough to hear the African Glory to God live on Easter Sunday 1999, and am eagerly waiting for the CD to arrive so that I can recapture that sense of true joy. What a treat to have this incredible music available whenever I need it!"

"When I was at school at ND, I used to look forward to 11:45 Mass on Sundays -- primarily because of the music. The music of the ND Folk Choir can literally lift you from your seat, make tears come to your eyes and infuse a feeling of sweet joy in your Soul. This CD has two of my favorite songs: the African Gloria and Jina Bwana. Anyone who comes to my house, gets to hear this CD on Sundays. I played this CD for my father who sings in a choir in Houston and he was so taken by it he wants to get his choir to sing some of these songs. It is kinetic energy at its best."
