"The Dirty Dozen Brass Band have jammed with more bands than almost anyone else. Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews, Dr. John, Elvis Costello, the Black Crowes, Modest Mouse, David Bowie are just a few. The thing is, many people may not be familiar with some of the Dirty Dozen's own albums, many of which are now out-of-print. This brand new collection includes tracks from the ten albums released during the Dirty Dozen's 27-year career. The album kicks off with the classic "My Feet Can't Fail Me Now" and doesn't slow down until the closing track "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" from their Funeral For A Friend album. In between you'll find some of the most inspired and infectious grooves ever committed to disc.
Everybody digs New Orleans. Why not check out the best of the best New Orleans has to offer?

"I've got a few albums by the Dozen, but when I saw this in my local record store, I bought it on impulse. I'm sure glad I did. There are a number of early tracks I'd never heard before, and the selection from more recent albums can't be faulted. If there's any one essential Dozen album (most of them come pretty darn close), it's this one. Get it without "fail"!"
