"Dirty, that Alabama group who hit us off with that 'Hit da Floe' the first time around, delivers their sophomore album ''Keep It Pimp & Gangsta''. Their first album became a regional hit with such songs as the aforementioned Hit Da Floe, and Bendin Corners, but didn't blow them up nationally. Now with this second album Dirty attempts to take it to the next level. This group takes its cues from early Outkast and UGK. They use swift flows with some original dirty south beats and potent riding lyrics. They also give a dash of that funkiness. These qualities have made 'Dirty' somewhat of a phenomenon in the south. Although they are not as political as Outkast nor as playalistic as UGK, they strike an equilibrium between the two that gives them their own distinct sound. Add to that they hail from the Gump as they call it, these Dirty boys have something to offer. They sprinkle nearly every aspect into this album whether you are just riding as witnessed on the first single and the best song on the album 'Woodgrain'', pimpin as witnessed on the album's title track, clubbin as on the jam with Pastor Troy entitled 'C'mon', or spittin tales of the playa life like on 'Think About U', this group delivers. They get emotional on that ''Candy Man Pt. 2'', which has them reminiscing about the shawty of their lives and spittin game to a female. Tight Tight TIght. The Pimp has the best flow out of the two but Gangsta is no slouch either. They both have liquid swiftness in their flows and voice. Excellent beats, rhymes, rhythms, flows, and choruses. If you enjoy music from Eightball & MJG, UGK, or Outkast than you should most definitely checc out Dirty. Recommended."

"... This is no doubt one of the best albums this year. The hottet tracks include the hit single 'Thats Dirty'produced by Cash Money's Mannie Fresh and the underground joint 'My Cadillac'with a hot sample and mad strings. Other standouts are 'C mon' featuring the down south georgia boy Pastor Troy also 'Ghetto Ride' which has a space age ...sound. This album is tight and a must have, if your a fan of crunk this is a classic and if your new to the music this album is a good introduction to the style. Get It While Its Hot"
