"But you can really dig on this album. I've been a big Bates fan for quite a while, ever since listening to him on a Hank Roberts (cellist) album. This album is definately up there with his other efforts, compositionally it is very strong, performance is first rate also. Grab a pint, put it on the turntable, and pay attention."
