CD Reviews

One of the greatest Jungle tracks!

"I don't have this single but, man, this track is Fierce! Just everything about it meshs together into one awesome dance song. Sexy vocals, deep bass, hard drum hits, etc... I need this on vinyl though."
Amazing

"I still hear this song get dropped a few times a month at the raves I go to. They never play enough of it though. It's in Dom & Roland's classic unmistakeable style, its got about a 2 mintues beginning portion, then explodes into the song all the way where the grinding buzzing bassline comes in with the "punish me, me, me" samples. A bit lighter and less frightening than his usual stuff, it's quite fun. And on the cd you get the extra 3rd track which is a great track too.Too bad all these D N B cd and vinyl singles are $10 imports, but its worth it"
Does the word "REWIND" ring a bell?

""Can't Punish Me" is a very important song for the DrumnBass/Tech Step world simply because the energy, style, focus, and overall grace Dom lays down cannot be duplicated nor matched. There are other "anthems" in the Jungle/DrumNBass world we find easy to embrase, and Dom with his Roland does just the same here. Me and a few other artists have tried to get the vocals to sample the way he does it, and damned if it never comes out the same. He is in a league all his own, and big shouts to Dara and Deiselboy for showcasing his work.Blessings,
Jes"
