This six-CD set comprises one of the volumes published in Venice in 1753, and two in 1754. The complete collection will comprise thirty-eight CDs. The last volume will be issued in July 2007 to coincide with the 250th anniversary of Scarlatti's death.Richard Lester is founder and artistic director of the Cirencester Early Music Festival, an annual event designed to promote excellence in the performance of early music.
