Yes you can hear some Bill Evans stylisms here and there but Don Friedman is an incredible strong pianist. Very very good. Exceptional the rhythmn section too and the interplay is quite good. I have every sixties album from Don and they are all great. Even the abstract parts are always intriguing and inventive. Beautiful!!"
