Ecletic electric and smooth

"They may not hang together, but you will love how they hang!

The Grusin brothers stamp is all over this, but there are real breakouts from some of Jazz's better artists that make this soup steamy. Nelson Rangell's sax is so clear, Charlie Bisharat's violin takes many cuts to a higher level, and Ritenour plays studio musician to all. Then there's Natali Rene.... I'm in love with her fresh air. If you can sit through her spanish duets with Venezuelan Frank Quintero without wigglin you might as well call it a day. She is wonderful. Oh yes, Patti Austin and Phil Perry remind us that all this latin motion has soulful roots. Up for a grammy and worth the price of admission. Enjoy."
