CD Reviews

Reminds me of the beach

"This is an awesome EP! And while it IS too short, it's also an... EP. So, why's it so good? Every song is smooth, feel good and funky. How could it not be with Jack Johnson, G. Love, Donavon Frankenreiter and, the highlight of the album, Zach Gill. When I put it in my CD player pure fun pours out. While all six tracks are great, the highlight is Zach Gill's Girl I Wanna Lay You Down. If there ever was a great make-out song this is it;) My other favorite is Free, written by Donavon, which is just so... free. When I listen to this EP I feel like I'm at the beach on a nice sunny day surfing with my friends and cooking hotdogs over an open fire. Awesome!"
It just makes you feel good...

"Not a suprise that when jack, don, and g. love come together with zach gill that a "fun" album will follow. there are more songs from the same sitting on vhi.com and [...]. so hopefully an "unplugged" album will come out soon. zach gill has been around for awhile and has found some difficulty making mainstream with the accordian, but this needs to be considered his "premier" album, frontlining with the likes of the kings of "feel good music." Definately not a disappointment! I only wish there were more, and the whole session was released. Also, I wish I knew when gatherings like this take place, not to be missed niext time!"
As always Jack does not disappoint....
