Slobberer | Astoria, NY United States | 04/13/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "I am selling this CD, so you can take what I have with a grain of salt, but as an avid opera collector, I was intrigued by this disc. The pieces are tuneful and light, but several of them display compositional ingenuity and more complexity than you might expect. The sound of the recording is fine, and the approach that Pietro Spada takes to these seems just right (though I have no other performances to guage against this). These pieces are the work of a composer as at home at writing for the keyboard as he was at writing for the theater. Good fun."
