A DOOM is AMAZING!!!

"I just stumbled upon this band- it apparently just released a couple months ago. Now, I'm a diehard Metallica, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie, BauHaus, Soundgarden, et al, fan from way back -- I thought I'd heard it all when it came to GOTH creativity - NO! THIS new band blew me on my arse! I listened to every one of the mp3 demos of their album tracks (15 seconds of each available here on Amazon) and simply could not get enough - I bought the whole album via mp3 download right then and there.

A DOOM incorporates so many ethnic influences: I hear Middle Eastern and South Indian motifs galore; dreamy trance-like drones unlike any I have heard before. And their faster metal stuff is really powerful, really great musicians here.

OK- 'nuf from me. Go dig A DOOM up and hear for yourself! I'm going back to my headphones a'doom...
