"These songs were Doris's own personal favorites chosen by her. This unique lady is a PERSONAL FAVORITE of mine. She could sing the phone directory and I would buy it. Her voice is ALONE and ABOVE any other female singer from her time or in the present. She sings with a crystal clear tone, always in tune, always in rhythm and with a caring in her heart for the song and the fans who will hear it later. She never had eletronic equipment to help her stay in tune or maintain her pitch as is available to artists today.
