"I heard of this band about a year ago. I got a cd sampler from the Hard Rock cafe and they happened to be on it. I listened to the song a million times and even figured it out on my guitar. So I looked for the cd for about three months and couldn't find it. Then I went to a record store and i found it and bought it. My 5 favorite songs off the record are: "Belief System," "1,000 yard stare," "Hell," "Vamp," and "Reason." My only complaint about the cd is after the song "Stand By" There's about 76 tracks of silence before the hidden track. Is still a great cd though."
Never lost but found again

"I saw dD open for Queensryche a few months ago here in SLC; They Rocked! I bought "1000 yd stare" soon after the concert. Each time I listen and it is frequently, I am more impressed with band and their all aspects of their music. I am glad to see a group like Double Drive arrive on the music scene. It says hard rock did not die or go away. I wish this group much success and am anxiously awaiting their next album. Enough of my ranting, buy the cd!"

"dD blew through Madison opening for Tesla. I had never heard of the band but from the opening song I was very impressed. The Songs were great and full of energy. The guitars and vocals were very memorable and distictive and the bass rocked. The drummer - Mike Froedge was AMAZING. He pretty much captivated me the entire set along with the people I went with. A friend commented that "That drummer is a god!". My wife commented that the drumming was a great example of "Zen drumming". This CD is great but make sure to try to catch these guys live - this band deserves much success. Their website needs some work though - they deserve better than what they are getting there."

"NEVER, have I heard an album sound this good from start to finish. I first heard doubleDrive late night on my local rock radio station, at 3:30 in the morning on my paper route. The song I heard was their first single "Tattooed Bruise (Here and There)". I was blown away! The song was so good, I had to backtrack the houses I missed throwing a paper to, because I was too into the song! The next day I rocketed down to my local record store, and sure enough, it had only been out a week; just sitting there on the shelf just waiting for me to grab it. If you like straight forward ROCK & ROLL, then this is YOUR album. Great lyrics, with a frontman whos voice makes God nervous. Make sure you check out "1,000 Yard Stare." It's VERY much worth it!"
Unique, but the same

"Cool album. Good song writing. At first they sounded like every other 90's band. But after few listens, I saw dD for what they are - great song writers. I saw the band open for Queensryche here in Portland and they were very good live as well. FYI - there are alot of Queensryche fans talking about these guys. Queensryche opened some doors for dD. I'm excited to see dD evolve into a popular band. It's inevitable. They're too good not to be."
