Album DescriptionIf you ever played the drum solo from "Wipe Out" on your school desk, then you are probably old enough to remember a time when AM radio Top 40 playlists routinely included "pop" instrumental songs. Some have deservedly become classics, like the "Green Onions " by Booker T and the MG?s", "No Matter What Shape" by the T-Bones, "Walk Don?t Run" from the Ventures, "Classical Gas" by Mason Williams, and of course "Tequila" by the Champs. obscure songs from Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and some disco mainstays probably deserve to remain obscure. LIQUID ARCHITECTURE is perhaps an update this genre but with a heavy influence from "Penguin Café Orchestra", "Moondog", and classic film scores. No lyrics are required.
