"A buddy of mine back home was kind enough to send me a copy of this new Download album yesterday. I've been listening to it all morning. The verdict - very analog, and fairly upbeat. There aren't any of the crazy, noisey samples or distorted, bizarre beats from earlier Download present on this album. This is a very synth oriented recording, and I can dig it! You can tell cEvin and co. reached for the older machines on this record. Once more, this album is not very noisey or "industrial." It's more a kin to something like Aphex Twin's Analord series or even Aaron Funk's Last Step project. As mentioned in the previous review - the tracks Hut and Beati stand out as exceptional songs. I'd also like to add Pilot's Requiem. All in all, it's a pretty sweet record and I can happily recommend it to anyone who knows what's up. So buy it!"
