CD Reviews

GOSPEL AT ITS FINEST!
John A. Gregorio | Castalian Springs, TN | 08/14/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"DOYLE LAWSON'S CURRENT EDITION OF QUICKSILVER IS ONE OF THE BEST, AND CONSIDERING THE NUMBER OF STELLER MUSICIAN WHO HAVE PASSED THROUGH HIS BANDS THIS IS REALLY AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

THEY ARE ONE OF THE FINEST ACAPELLA GOSPEL GROUPS ANYWHERE, ALTHOUGH THEY SURE CAN PLAY THOSE INSTRUMENTS.

WHAT MAKES HIS MUSIC SO GOOD AND IS NOT DISCUSSED AS OFTEN IS HIS ABILITY TO CHOOSE THE BEST SONGS RATHER NEW OR CLASSIC THAT ARE AVAILABLE FROM A GREAT BODY OF WORKS CURRENTLY 'MAKING THE ROUNDS."

GOD' MUST LISTEN TO THIS MUSIC AND SMILE!"
The Best DL&Q Gospel CD
Matthew | Boone, North Carolina | 05/09/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Everytime DL & Q comes out with a new bluegrass gospel CD, I think it is the best, but yet again, Doyle fools us. The CD's get better and better. "Would You Mention My Name" is a favorite, "End of the Road, "Meet Me Yonder" are two other favorites. Pure mountain music is what you get. I have had the privledge of see Doyle on several occasions at bluegrass festivals. This is a must for your collection."
