Four Steps to Center? is a simple and effective technique that leads you into meditation by guiding you through the 4 levels of being; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, the levels of body, heart, mind and spirit. As you move through each level you are guided to release the tensions, distractions and concerns that prevent you from relaxing on all levels and moving into meditation. Our CD?s use guided meditation, featuring the voice and words of Dr. Carol Robin, with beautiful, relaxing background music. Guided meditation is the process by which a guide or teacher leads you through the process of moving into meditation. In this way, they help you find the pathway to a meditative state, as well as help you experience that state. Once you have experienced what it feels like to be in a meditative state, and learned the path to it, it is easy for you to take yourself there. Many people attempt to learn meditation on their own, but become frustrated and discouraged. The frustrations they encounter are often due to ineffective techniques and/or inadequate guidance or not having any experience of what it feels like when you achieve a meditative state. This CD solves those problems by expertly guiding you through the established Four Steps to Center? technique. With regular practice of the Four Steps to Center? technique, you can learn to easily shift your consciousness in and out of a meditative state. You will be able to use this technique on your own, with or without the guided meditation CD. The Four Steps to Center? technique is used in all of our guided meditation CD?s to guide you into a meditative state, in which you can then, most powerfully, utilize the work of the particular CD. This CD is an introduction to this technique, and is recommended for people who wish to learn to meditate, or have had difficulty learning to meditate in the past. Experienced meditators may also find this technique a helpful addition to their current meditation practice. Track 1 is an introductory guided meditation that teaches you the Four Steps To Center? process. Listen to this track as many times as you wish, to become comfortable with the process. Afterward, you can continue with track 1 (30 minutes), or move on to track 2 (30 minutes), or use them both as suits you. Track 2 is a guided meditation, using the Four Steps To Center? process, called ?Earth and Sky, Body and Spirit.? In this meditation, you learn to connect the energies of Body and Spirit and then take time for your own inner work and exploration, once you have reached a meditative state. You can use the meditative state for healing, centering, to ask for guidance, find inspiration, open yourself to forgiveness and compassion, re-charge and rejuvenate your system, or simply remember the true depth of your being. You can be creative and be open to whatever comes to you. Everything is possible. Use these guided meditations anytime you have an uninterrupted half hour. This CD is not to be used while driving.
