Album DescriptionDrive were one of the greatest punk rock bands to come out of the UK during the classic late 80's/early 90's era, along with the likes of Snuff, Leatherface, Mega City Four and The Senseless Things. Signed to the First Strike label, run out of Alan's record shop in Wigan (one of the very few places in the UK at the time where you could buy American underground punk records) the band quickly rose out of their local scene and were regular visitors to top end of the much missed UK 'indie chart'. This CD brings together all of the bands previously released (and long out of print) material, including the classic 'No Girls' and 'Go Out Be Happy' singles, as well as the two songs from the band's very collectable cover versions 7" with songs by The Descendents and The Minutemen. Artwork by Shelby Cinca (Cassettes / Frodus).
