"This is a wonderful movie soundtrack from one of the best films ever made: Driving Miss Daisy. Hans Zimmer has composed a beautiful and memorable score that fits right in with the film. It's good music to listen to if you'd like to relax or just daydream. The instrumentation is wonderful and the sound is superb. This album also features songs from Eartha Kitt, Louis Armstrong and an excerpt from the opera Rusalka. This is a highly recommended soundtrack! Go out and purchase your copy today! It would make a fine addition to any music collection."

"With DRIVING MISS DAISY, film score composer Hans Zimmer proves once again that he can tackle any genre (others include THE LION KING, THE ROCK, and CRIMSON TIDE just to name a few) with the same level of creativity and uniqueness. This one is no exception.
The soundtrack to this movie, like the movie itself, is very, very short. But the orchestrated score seems to overflow with the same rich drama and reflective story-telling that was done so well in the movie. For awhile, the main theme was even adopted by Chevrolet for use in their television commercials.
This soundtrack release is further complimented with (also featured in the movie) Louis Armstrong's "Kiss of Fire," Eartha Kitt's "Santa Baby," and the enchanting "Song of the Moon." My only complaint is that I wish they had included the rendition of "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" which was sung so beautifully by the Gospel choir during Idella's funeral."
