CD ReviewsRocks - Front to Back thebigwave | Boston MA | 09/26/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "I kind of stopped buying CD's for a while, cause I was tired of spending $15 on what turned out to be 3 good songs and a bunch of filler. I saw these guys play a couple of times, and liked them more each time I saw them, so I picked up the CD. Gotta say that it's really good from front to back. "Best Thing" is a surefire radio hit (along with a couple others if they get a chance), and the rest of the album really grows on you. Seems like most artists don't pay attention to putting together a whole album anymore, just a collection of songs. But the Dropline disc works not just because of the quality but also the order of the songs - it holds together as one piece. Well balanced. If you like Oasis, "brit-rock", Rubyhorse and the like give this a shot. Listen to the whole CD twice in a row and you'll be hooked." A perfect mellow American sing-along! unprofessional | Norway | 09/24/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "I first heard these guys on my computer, God bless the internet. Can`t say I was blown away, cause their single "Fly Away" was the only one I could find. Sure it is a great song, but the rest of the album is brilliant. Dropline mix rock & pop& pieces of genious into a well produced Cd here. Steve Sulikowski has a very clean voice, but he also knows how to rock it. Tracks that stand out are "No Time At All", "Fallen Angel", "Weight of the World"....hard to choose really! I gave it 5 stars cause of many highlights, and absolutely no especially weaker tracks. A "Must Buy" for anyone who are into alternative, pop-rock artists! It is well worth the money spent!!!" Potential Byron Hauck | Detroit, MI USA | 03/09/2004 (3 out of 5 stars) "The first three tracks are wonderful, and it's a testament to the band's maturity that even though the rest of the CD is made of far-ranging sounds it still displays remarkable coherency as an album. Dropline's really mastered the simple band sound and should avoid forays into more complicated material that too often the album slips into. It's unfortunate that the quality of the first three tracks cannot be maintained for the entire album, but there is enough promise here that I will hope they sit down, listen to a lot of Tom Petty and emerge with a much clearer image of what they want Dropline to be."
