What does water skiing music sound like? Well, as played by Duane Eddy--Mr. Have Twang Will Travel--it's an awful lot like surf music. In fact, that's exactly what it is. This set bunches Eddy's Twangy Guitar, Silky String... more »s from 1962 with 1964's Water Skiing, which adds up to an assortment of period standards ("High Noon," "Moon River," "Love Me Tender") and less familiar selections arranged to showcase Eddy's inimitable guitar pyrotechnics. --Steven Stolder« less

"Water Skiing is my alltime favorite instrumental album of all time! Even before I got into the Ventures I was hooked on this album. My wife also enjoys the Twangy Guitar, Silky Strings album so it works out well for both of us."
