"The first time I heard DNSS I couldn't stand it. A friend of mine was a big fan and I could never knew what he saw in them. Then one day he loaned it to me and said "just listen to it." So I did, and fell in love with it. Calvin Johnson (lead singer) has a deep low, dry voice. His voice is why I couldn't stand them at first and now I absolutely love his voice. Sometimes when we hear something that is actually new we don't always give it a fair chance. In the music world where so much music sounds the same. The new heavy metal fad being one of them (Limp Bizkit, Korn along with other various tag along bands) The style is very funky, jazzy, fast paced, and just down right fun. Lyrics are silly and lighten any mood. Definately an album that you grab some beers, grab some friends, and sit on the porch all day with this album blasting. People may walk by you looking at you oddly but as they walk on they will start to wiggle to the music."
