Insidiously infectious, heavy dub.

"Not as intricately dubbed as many of the classics, this long out of print work still has enough original heavy bass/drum action, melody and atmosphere to eventually hook you, if not immediately. The raw materials of the music are such that the subtle echo and delay in the dubbing serve to take the super heavy drums and bass (played by the Barret brothers- The Wailers) into the fifth dimension of classic dub.
The horns, played by some ubiquitous reggae names, are pretty weighty too.
The extra tracks on this one are helpful; without them the album is short, and all five aren't just outtakes etc, they are great dub tracks in their own right and are indistinguishable from the flow of the rest of the album.
This is a great, dark and brooding, unique and raw, dub set."
