"20 tunes neatly arranged with not much lead singing but lots of back-up vocals in tight harmony. Reggaerized to the max leaves no link to these songs' original style. Leader's guitar cuts right on with soulful jazzy feel. It sounds unlike Marley and at times almost like Santana. Different key signatures and tempos, but lack of dynamics and articulation due to the "artificial" rhythm section. Would've been boring (it's a long CD) if not for guitar solos, excellent arrangements and back-up vocals. Wish this was recorded live with REAL drums, horns and steel pans!"
