"Probably because of his acting interests, I can always understand every word Dwight sings. It makes it easy to enjoy the content of this & all of his Albums I have collected so far. The usual mix of mainly words & music by Dwight, collaborations with Kostas & Roger Miller and other people's songs; my favourite of these is the duet with Patty Loveless on "Send A Message to My Heart". Wilbur Harrison's "Let's Work Together" has a long/strong association with Rock & Roll. Dwight & the band do a good job of rocking & rolling country style! Track 12 "You're the One" is a real favourite for me. Written in his early 20's Dwight's lyrics say so much if you can remember being young & in love then left to cry. How sweet the sound of being able to say, "I don't want you anymore!" There is a slight honky tonk feel to John Seager's "I don't Need it Done". Dwight is very good at selecting other's work to use. If it is true that country singer songwriters use life experiences for their lyrics then Dwight's lovelife has been fraught with heartache. Can't believe such a good looking guy would have so much difficulty with the ladies!"
