Dyonisos is a one-man virtual ensemble featuring American musician Dan Cowan. His style is an arty space-rock, abundant in extended guitar and synthesizers parts, sometimes evoking Pink Floyd and Camel, sometimes Eloy or Alan Parsons Project, without even mentioning Ozric Tentacles and Tangerine Dream, though the Gilmour-esque influence is unquestionably dominant in his music. Two years after the eponymous release, "An Incidental Collection" (2007) sees the light of day. Twelve tracks made of pure musical joy, pushing the envelope even further.
