"We all believe in Santa when we are children. This song embodies that sad moment, when we realize that we have been deceieved and that trust is broken. No wonder he wants to throw out his presents when he discovers they are not really coming from Santa. He's been fooled by St. Nick (or should we say, his parents!)
"I gave you all of my trust, I loved you," he says of his earlier, more innocent youthful days when he used to sit on Papa Claus' lap and ask for ponies. Obviously he heard the song, "I Saw Mama Kissing Santa," for he later accuses his own mother of, "I heard the story. Ya played me, ya even gave him head," (referring obviously to the parental copulation that resulted in his being.)
Eamon proceeds to effectively blur the line between his mother's gift-giving charade and the jolly fat guy with the lucid witticism "hoe." The repeated orginality of the line borders on both humor and hatred. Ho-Ho!
In effect, his whole holiday outlook has been a deception and now he'd rather not deal with it anymore. He needs to stop externalizing his pain, and instead realize that Santa is inside each of us. Happy Birthday Jesus!! :-)"
Great song

"This is such an amazing song. He sings about how this girl that he used to go out with, broke his heart. She cheated on him with another man and he expresses his emotions in no way that I have ever heard in most songs out today. I think most people will like this song because you can really relate to it. He sings with emotions of anger, which is how most people feel when they have just broken up. If you have been screwed over by someone that you loved, then this is the perfect song to listen to. I cant wait till his CD comes out."
Is this guy for real?

"I was seriously "LMAO" when I first heard this track. Who does this assclown think he is? Seriously. Like some others have mentioned, all I hear is Mickey Mouse crying throughout this entire song. People review this song with 5 stars thinking he's some kind of "groundbreaking" artist who "speaks the truth". Give me a break. This kid has no talent in singing or song-writing and I don't know how he got into the music business. He probably sucked off an A&R. I do admit the beat is catchy and I'll be waiting for another R&B singer to carry it right."
Are you for real people?

"It amazes me how many of you are going down the "Speak your mind, keep it real, I can relate" route. I'm the last person to judge anybody it's not in my nature but you have to be a freaking vegetable not to have an opinion about this song. Ok, the first thing I hate is the fact that everybody is acting like what this Eamon guy is singing about is "groundbreaking" you people think this is the first guy to go through stuff like this. Do you honestly think that he has never cheated on anybody? People c'mon! A lot of the review talk about the swearing and how they disapprove. Although the swearing in this song is pathetic it's not my biggest problem with it. You show me some DMX, the late Tupac, Eminem, who's lyrics are 80% swearing and it's still art, it's still worth listening to and admiring. This is a song that I think was written while somebody was taking a sh**t. And I know all you young'ns are going to start saying "F**k him for saying that, he doesn't know what he is talking about, he doesn't relate" I'm 25 and if you think that your only going to deal with a girl or guy breaking your heart like this only once, you are mistaken. The choices we make lead to the result we get and if every time something like this happens your going write and sing songs like this, gees!!"

"I'm sure you read all the reviews above me. I can't say it any better than these other reviewers. The man says it the way should be said. It is very powerful.
After listening to this song a few times, I broke into tears. I feel for him and I know how it feels.
I can't recomend this enough. Eamon is going to be a very big artist. I wish him all the best in the world."
