"this album conjures and invokes senses and forces of the himalayas...Shankar's touch adds weird urgency to the swirling sometimes despondent (and quite existential) mix.

this is essential echo...and very much like the Banshees after they did JUJU, they realized they opened up something...i think they went one more step (a bit artier) with Ocean Rain.

but this is simply by far their best.

a challenging album for all emotions."
