Album Description2010 collection from one of Rock 'n' Roll's most influential musicians, taken from his recordings spanning the years 1954 to 1960. On April 16th, 1960 Rock 'n' Roll lost one of its major pioneers when Eddie Cochran died in a car crash at the end of an 11 week UK tour. Eddie was backed by the best of the new British Rock musicians including, Joe Brown and Marty Wilde's Wild Cats, "Big" Jim Sullivan, Brian Locking, Tony Belcher and Brian Bennett. During the tour, Eddie showed these young rockers some licks and tricks including, tuning variations and foot pedal effects, which were all new at the time. "Big" Jim Sullivan, using what he had learned from Eddie, supplemented his income by giving guitar lessons to young musicians that included Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Albert Lee and Eric Clapton.
