"I have seen EFO at least 30 times in concert (a little scary, I know), and I have all of their CDs, and this is the one I come back to again and again. It's the best! Julie's voice is incredible, the songwriting is great (and often funny), and it's just a happy, upbeat set of tunes. Highly recommended!"

"I have this cd, but I clicked on the link merely to check for any new EFO cds (the lazy way). What does this say? EFO is awesome! I have the entire collection. They're folk music type songs. The lyrics are witty. The music is fabulous. My favorite on this cd is the last one (Doin' Time Under the Life Guard Stand), which is just hysterical for anyone who has spent time in a public pool. A Very Fine Funeral (somewhat morbid lyrics with a nice cheerful melody) is also my favorite. Never mind about favorites I guess, I like them all."
One of my favorite albums by EFO!

"Even though this was their first CD, I just recently bought it at one of their concerts and after just listening once, I knew I would play it again and again (just like I do all their other CDs I own). This has some of the funniest songs and they are so enjoyable to listen to. Addictive is the word that comes to mind because once you play the CD, you will find yourself playing it again and again. The lyrics, vocals, instrumentation, arrangement - all excellent! I would recommend this 100% to any EFO fan and if you've never heard them, just listen and you will also love this great group!"

"It seems I'm not the only EFO fan to get hooked after just one listen. Juggler on His Blades was my first CD after seeing them live in Greensboro, NC. I have never looked back, and just saw them in New York City. I strongly recommend that you see them live if you have a chance. Very engaging."
True to themselves... contemplative, funny & addictive.

"I first heard Eddie from Ohio at the Main Street Cafe in Blacksburg, VA in 1992. Instantly, I was hooked on their catchy compositions and bought all the albums I could find the next day. A Juggler on His Blades is a quick fix for when you can't find them on stage. The album is serious with a light heart... a must for lovers of quality tunes. It's essential!!!Colin"
